Any visit to a hospital is a little scary. At the Medical University of South Carolina, we try to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

To the left, you can learn more about the various steps you'll go through as you proceed through a surgery. On the night before the surgery, for example, you shouldn't eat or drink anything.
