THE SECOND and THIRD YEAR (NS-1 and 2: PGY-2 and 3)
During
the second and third years, the resident obtains a comprehensive
introduction to clinical neurosurgery and related disciplines
at the Medical University Hospital and the MUSC Children’s
Hospital. The resident will have a broad exposure to all facets
of neurosurgical care in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
The resident will gain progressively increasing clinical responsibility
in the operating room, the hospital and the outpatient settings.
