THE FIRST YEAR (NS-0 : PGY 1)

The first year is offered jointly with the Department of Surgery and is a categorical surgery PGY-1 year. Approximately half of the year is devoted to various surgical rotations with the Department of General Surgery. The remaining time will be devoted to one month of elective rotations in neuroradiology, neuro critical care, neuropathology, neuroopthomology and three months of neurology (mandatory).
