THINK FIRST

To prevent brain, spinal cord and other traumatic injuries through the education of individuals, community leaders and the creators of public policy.

The Think First Foundation was founded by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons in 1986 with the local chapter being established in 1995.

Think First develops educational programs, geared toward teenagers and young adults, and children in grades K-3, to help raise the awareness of potential brain and spinal cord injuries.
