PEDIATRIC SPASTICITY CLINIC
The Pediatric Spasticity Clinic provides multidisciplinary
care for children with spasticity
of many origins, including cerebral
palsy, stroke and
trauma. Neurosurgery,
and pediatric orthopedics,
physical therapy
are represented. Treatment with oral anti-spasticity
drugs, orthotics
and physical therapy, botulinum
and phenol injection,
baclofen infusion
pumps and selective dorsal
rhizotomy are all available. Comprehensive multidisciplinary
evaluation and monitoring of therapy are provided at a single
site.
The Spasticity Clinic meets every third Friday of each month,
8:30 - 12:00 noon. New patient referrals can be made by calling
843-876-0444.
