Elizabeth Hamilton, NP-C
Elizabeth Hamilton graduated magna cum laude from University of South Carolina with a B.S. Degree in Psychology. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant with interests in developmental psychology and the psychophysiology of attention. After completing her psychology degree, she continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina obtaining a nursing degree and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
She worked for several years as an inpatient nurse with orthopedic, trauma, and neurology patients. While working as a nurse, she also served as a nurse preceptor for new graduate nurses. In addition, she completed the Master of Nursing degree in the family nurse practitioner track at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She is currently providing care for both pediatric and adult patients with epilepsy. Her clinical interests include developing treatment plans for women with epilepsy and patients with nonepileptic spells.
