The MUSC Comprehensive Epilepsy Program is a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals focused on improving the lives of patients and families who are living with epilepsy. We evaluate and care for patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults and the elderly.
MUSC is a LEVEL 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, meeting or exceeding all guidelines set by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers for level 4 status. Level 4 is the highest category, indicating extensive expertise and truly comprehensive care in the medical, social, psychological and surgical treatment of epilepsy.
Our center includes experts in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Neuropsychology, Psychology, Social work, Nursing, Speech/Language Pathology, and Rehabilitation who work together using state of the art facilities. This enables us to address the diverse needs of all patients with seizure disorders.
